This type of door folds inwards to optimise space and light, and opens rooms up without compromising floor space. Manufactured in multiple materials and finishes, they’re perfect for internal divisions or linking indoor and outdoor areas. 

All our internal bifold doors can open towards or away from you. When installing bifold doors, simply set the hinges to suit your own requirements.

Thrufold Folding Doors

Our Thrufold sliding doors are made in both standard and bespoke made-to-measure systems, designed for a precise fit in your home.

With a range of finishes, configurations, and customisation options, these doors cater to diverse aesthetic preferences and functional needs.

Configuration choices are:

• 2+0, with two doors opening to the left or right.

• 2+1, two doors on one side and one opposite.

• 3+0, with three doors opening to the left or right.

• 2+2, two doors opening to each side.

• 3+1, three doors on one side and one on the opposite.

• 3+2, three doors opening to one side and the other two opening to the opposite side.

• 3+3, three doors opening to each side.

All Thrufold door products are cut to size upon receipt of the order and cannot be cancelled afterwards; they are classified as bespoke items created and manufactured by Direct Doors to suit your exact folding door dimensions.

Eco-Urban® SlimFold Folding Doors

These narrow doors form a folding system with options from three to eight folding door leaves. The style is a concertina with an industrial vibe, offered in seven colour choices. Solid composite construction makes them heavy-duty and built to last.

Do You Install Folding Doors?

No. Unfortunately, we don’t provide installation services. However, we can help you choose the ideal set of folding doors for a price that suits your budget and fitting requirements.

With decades of experience as a folding door supplier, we can advise you on the best options for your specific situation. What we’ve learned more than most is that the right choice of doors comes down to quality and style, rather than price.

What Sizes Do Your Folding Doors Come in?

Our stylish folding door systems come in a variety of sizes, depending on the type of door:

• We offer standard internal bifold doors with set sizes starting at 1827mm wide and 2090mm high, all the way up to our bespoke bifolding sliding doors, which can be as wide as 5000mm (5 meters) and 2400mm high.

• Exterior folding doors are available in 3-door options, with sizes ranging from 1790 to 2390mm in width and 2090mm in height.

• Our Thrufold frames are available in three main individual door widths: 686 mm, 762mm, and 838mm. When you combine these sizes with all the configurations, you have 21 folding door widths, ranging from 1445mm to 5115mm in width.

What Measuring and Fitting Information Should I Know?

All of the internal bifold door (single doors) sizes quoted are to suit "openings" of that size. The folding door kits are always smaller by about 10mm to 15mm in width and 35mm to 40mm in height, allowing for the addition of the track, which is placed above the sliding door set. These clearances allow the correct operation of the bifold track, hung system, and associated hinge pins.
