The Suffolk door with part obscure doors is manufactured from real american white oak veneers for your paint or stain over a solidly constructed engineered core with the lining effect on both sides of the door.
Although we mention painting we feel the door will best be shown with a top quality stain, the door has a genuine heavy feel to it and the fitting of a fourth hinge may be required and it is quite normal to fit the extra (4th) hinge immediately next to the top hinge as this give the frame extra strength in terms of the pull wieght of the door.
The glazing in the Suffolk oak door is best described as "patchwork" and is mainly obscure (see image below) and very little if any privacy will be lost in the fitting of this door, sizes are 1981x762mm, 1981x838mm and 2032x813mm.
