London land to be released by 2016
Some 525 hectares of land is to be 'exited' by the Greater London Authority (GLA) in the UK capital in order to encourage the development of housing, it has been reported.
The land was transferred to GLA under a devolution settlement. Mayor Boris Johnson is looking to free up land by 2016, which has a development value of £1 billion.
