All of these frames may require additional joinery work to suit the exact door width or height, in the case of the latter it should be noted that the frame with code DFC36 suits a 915mm wide door but there are two door heights with this width, the shorter door requires the frame legs to be shaped / cut.

These frames will suit standard size doors and the cross sections are representative but some dimensions may vary without impacting on the fitting procedure, cill adapters (smallest section) are for opening the door outwards.

Please use the 750ml top coat included in your order and paint the door in full, please take special care to finish any cutouts or modified areas to prevent damage to the timber. Any cutouts or adjusted areas need to be fully sealed, including all the door edges

Additional Information

The frame is supplied in matt premium primed and ready for the final coat of paint. One extra can of top coat with 50% gloss is included, which provides a slightly higher shine. The full door must be prefinished on-site. Any cutouts or adjusted areas such as edges, letter plates etc., need to be properly sealed. Failure to treat bare timber may lead to excessive changes in moisture content which can cause shrinking, swelling, splitting or distortion.
