Our Range of Sliding Pocket Doors in the UK
Pocket doors, also known as concealed, hidden or internal cavity sliding doors, fit into a space in the wall. This concealed sliding mechanism is achieved by creating a cavity between two wall partitions to accommodate the track system. When fully open, the door is almost completely hidden from view. Variety of Pocket Door Types
All our internal pocket doors for sale are made from durable and high-quality materials. We maintain strict standards for all our products, working with trusted pocket door suppliers and manufacturers. Our range includes:
Single pocket doors: A space-saving solution, perfect for smaller rooms with no space for a hinged door.
Double pocket doors: Designed for wider openings, offering an elegant way to connect or separate larger spaces.
Fire-rated pocket doors: Compliant with UK fire regulations while maintaining a sleek, hidden appearance.
Telescopic pocket doors: Multiple panels slide to one side, allowing doors to stack neatly out of sight.
Pocket Door Finishes
Choose from flush, panelled or glazed designs in a range of elegant finishes. As one of the leading online UK pocket doors retailers, we aim to ensure you find the ideal pocket door for your home. We offer them in a variety of styles to match both modern and traditional interior designs. Choose a finish that suits your decorating preferences.
Unfinished doors: Ideal for custom staining or painting.
White primed doors: Provide a smooth base coat for a top layer in the colour of your choice.
Premium-primed: Classical colour options that look good enough to hang but require a topcoat.
Pocket Door Colours
Our pocket door products are available in a wide colour palette to complement your interior, from warm, natural tones like oak and walnut to modern shades of grey and crisp white. The variety of traditional wood grains and contemporary painted finishes allows you to match your door to existing furniture, accessories, flooring, or wall colours.
Glazing Options
If you want more light to flow between rooms, glazed pocket doors are a great solution. We offer numerous options, including:
Clear: Maximises light and openness, with obscure patterns available.
Bevelled: Precision-angled cuts that catch the light and add a refined, decorative detail.
Frosted: Digitally printed onto the glass for a smooth, opaque finish.
Obscure glass: A translucent finish that softens visibility while allowing light through.
Reeded: Patterned glass that suits modern interiors.
Tinted: With a layer of UV film for a darkened effect.
Construction
Our pocket doors are available in three styles:
Solid core: Offers excellent soundproofing and durability.
Semi-solid core: Balances strength with affordability.
Full glass: Allowing maximum visibility.
The choice depends on where you want to install the doors. A solid core is better for bedrooms or offices, while a semi-solid door may be optimal for en-suite bathrooms, pantries, and walk-in closets.

Pocket Door Frame Sizes
Most pocket door products are available in standard United Kingdom sizes, making them quick and straightforward to install. However, if your project involves unusual dimensions, we also provide bespoke made-to-measure pocket door systems to your exact specifications.
Specifications
The pocket door system is available in two standard widths, suitable for walls with a thickness of either 100mm or 125mm.
The cassette is designed to match standard studwork thickness, 75mm (3") or 100mm (4"). This allows you to continue the standard 12.5mm plasterboard over the pocket, providing the wall thickness of either 100mm (4") or 125mm (5").
You can add further layers of plasterboard to increase the overall wall thickness. The inner door cavity (where the door slides into the cassette) is therefore 54mm or 79mm.
Pocket Door Kits Key Features:
The features of our pocket door systems include:
Thickness: Suitable for finished wall depths of 100mm or 125mm and suits door thicknesses between 35 and 44mm.
Inclusive: Complete with cross rails, cassette edge covers, end posts (single), seals, and brushes, with timber end post and trim included.
Durable: 1.2mm galvanised steel vertical reinforced profiles for increased strength and reduced flex.
Strong: Metal track holder and door post, 100% galvanised steel cassette structure with a maximum door weight of 100kg.
Convenient: Horizontal profile sections further reinforce the structure, allowing plasterboard to be fixed directly to the cassette.

FAQs about Our Sliding Doors
Here are the answers to some important questions you may have.
What Are the Advantages of Pocket Door Systems?
If you’re still unsure whether pocket doors are right for you, here are a few added advantages of these space-saving doors you may not have been aware of:
Increase home value: Adds a contemporary, stylish feature that appeals to buyers and enhances your property’s appeal.
Practical for bathrooms: Ideal for en-suites or compact bathrooms where a swinging door would take up too much floor space.
Easy to maintain: Simple mechanisms and durable designs mean pocket doors require very little upkeep.
Maximise usable space: By sliding doors into a wall cavity, internal pocket doors free up valuable space in small rooms.
Flexible room layouts: Double pocket doors can open up larger areas, making it easy to connect or divide rooms to meet your requirements.
How Much Space Do Pocket Doors Require?
The space you need for a pocket door depends on:
Cavity width: You typically need at least twice the width of the door plus a small allowance for framing.
Cavity depth: The pocket or cassette system you choose determines the depth of the wall. For example, our “Ermetika” cassette option supports wall thicknesses of ~100mm or 125mm.
Wall height: The opening must be high enough to accommodate both the height of the door and the track/cassette above.
Door thickness: Thicker and heavier doors need stronger hardware and may require more structural support in the pocket frame.
Installation kits: Pocket door kits vary in size. Always check the manufacturer’s information, as some kits may require additional clearance.
Are Pocket Doors Easy to Replace?
Replacing a pocket door is usually straightforward, provided the original frame or cassette system is in good condition. In many cases, you can remove the architraves, unclip the door from its rollers, and replace it with a new one. This is especially easy if you’re sticking with the same size and thickness.
Additionally, you can typically swap out worn rollers, tracks, or guides without removing the entire frame. However, if the frame is in poor condition, full removal may be required, including sections of plasterboard. However, our high-quality systems are built to last and rarely need full replacement.
What are the benefits of fire-rated pocket doors?
Fire-rated pocket doors are an added layer of security and protection. They can withstand fire for up to 30 minutes (FD30 rated), helping to slow the spread of fire and smoke in an emergency. They also add home value and can be easily hidden away to open up room for foot traffic.
