35mmor40mm doors (depending on choice and availability) and a frame section of 180mm.

The idea is to build the pocket to the same thickness as the studwork - 155mm(6" approx.) so that you can directly fit the standard 12.5mmplasterboard over the pocket, providing the finished wall thickness of 180mm (7").

Further layers of plasterboard can be added to increase the overall wall thickness but other joinery work may be required. When fully open the leading door projects 9cm out of the pocket.

When the telescopic doors are fully closed with both doors out of the cassette, the overlap of the doors will be about 5 cm on average.

These pocket doors come with full fitting instructions and the door system allows you to slide the doors straight in to a cavity in a preformed wall aperture, the system incorporates a galvanised steel cassette section and a track set with all fittings and the door may be supplied with full decoration but no decor is included to the cassette system parts or its frame, check each door as you browse for the exact details.

No, we are a supply-only company and do not offer a fitting service.

That said, we are experts in our field and are always happy to help with any questions you may have. We can advise on product care, fitting, hinges, locks, frames, and all other aspects of installation.

Please do not worry, deliveries may arrive with two different couriers. If you have received only part of your order, please allow a few more days for the remaining items to arrive.

There are many suggestions online that oil can be used on these doors, based on our experience, we recommend not applying oil. 

The final colour can vary between individual doors, making it difficult to achieve a consistent finish. 

This is particularly important when purchasing doors for a pair or a system that uses multiple doors.

We believe door veneers can in certain circumstances where oil has been used lead to the veneer splitting.
