Glazing choices
  • Clear double glazing: brightest option with crisp reflections
  • Reeded double glazing: vertical textured glass that remains fully transparent
  • Stippolyte double glazing: pebbled frosted effect with good daylight
  • Frosted toughened glazing: a softer, private view
Timber and build

Choose hardwood, meranti, pine or oak. All accept paint well after a clean and de dust. On site finishing is essential to protect against moisture movement.

Installation notes
  1. Dry fit the door, then remove for finishing.
  2. Seal all edges and faces, including top and bottom, letter plate cut outs and hinge recesses.
  3. If you plane the door or make ironmongery cut outs, re seal those areas with three coats of a suitable external wood finish.
  4. Do not leave timber bare at any stage.
