Each door is matt primed and supplied with a 750 ml top coat that cures to a soft 50% gloss. Lightly prepare the surface, then apply the top coat and seal every edge and cut out.

Choose hardwood, meranti, pine or oak. All accept paint well after a clean and de dust. On site finishing is essential to protect against moisture movement.
- Dry fit the door, then remove for finishing.
- Seal all edges and faces, including top and bottom, letter plate cut outs and hinge recesses.
- If you plane the door or make ironmongery cut outs, re seal those areas with three coats of a suitable external wood finish.
- Do not leave timber bare at any stage.
