Nico launches Sash Compressor for large top hung windows
Nico Manufacturing, leading manufacturer of window products, has launched a Sash Compressor for larger top hung u-PVC windows with a euro-groove profile.
Designed to complement the Nico range of Friction Hinges, the Sash Compressor can be easily fitted to many window systems, providing additional compression to the sides of the window to prevent distortion and optimise performance.
Available in two heights (13mm and 17mm) with a common catch assembly that fits into the euro-groove, the Nico Sash Compressor is a low cost alternative to wrap around gear. It also has the added advantage of still allowing the sash to be locked in the night vent position.
The Sash Compressor is pressure die-cast, finished with Supercoat 500 – Nico’s highly corrosion-resistant coating – and, like the rest of the Nico Window Products range, designed and built in the UK.
