Technical Specs

Absolute Evokit, when you don’t want to see any architraves or jambs, just a modern, clean finish allied to a cutting edge system for a truly contemporary feel.

These pocket doors come with full fitting instructions and the door system allows you to slide the door straight in to a cavity in a preformed wall aperture, the system incorporates a galvanised steel cassette section and a track set with all fittings, the door may be supplied with full decoration but no decor is included to the cassette system parts or its frame, check each door as you browse for the exact details.

The Ermetika Absolute Evokit pockets are available in one standard width for a finished wall thickness of 100mm but it is envisaged that the 125mm will be available in the future.

The idea is to build the pocket to the same thickness as the studwork - 75mm (3") which is the standard studwork size generally in use, so that you can directly continue using the standard 12.5mm plasterboard over the pocket providing the finished wall thickness of 100mm (4") four inches.

The inner door cavity (where the door slides in to the cassette pocket) is therefore 54mm or 79mm if and when the 125mm cassette system is available.

An Easy stop AB twin dual soft closer/opener accessory to close the door slowly and softly is included.

Other items such as flush door pulls and bathroom locks can all be purchased separately, doors will require a routered channel to be created in the bottom of the door to accommodate the supplied track guide.

The pocket door frame must be concealed within your own wall when installing.

Doors will require a routered channel to be created in the bottom of the door to accommodate the track guide. All jamb kits are supplied to suit all pocket doors sizes and will therefore need cutting to height and width on site.

The sizes listed above are for the overall door and pocket set which includes the metal pocket frame and the Easy stop AB twin dual soft closer/opener but does not include a plasterboard, all doors require a groove to be cut in the bottom for the track guide to fit.
