What is included in a telescopic pocket door kit?
As we do not offer installations, each kit includes a frame, track, rollers and all essential components needed for the doors to slide seamlessly into the wall. Designed for easy installation, the telescopic sliding pocket door kit ensures reliable, quiet operation while maximising space and style in your home.
Note: Doors will require a routed channel at the bottom of each door leaf to accommodate the supplied track guides.
What sizes are available for telescopic pocket doors?
Telescopic pocket doors come in sizes ranging from 1981 mm x 610 mm up to 2040 mm x 926 mm, measured for the full door and frame. This includes the metal pocket frame but excludes any architrave or plasterboard.
Note: All doors require a groove cut at the base for the track guide, and for doors narrower than 615 mm, the Staffetta Synchroniser cannot be fitted.

What wall thickness is required for telescopic pocket doors?
Telescopic systems fit a finished wall thickness of 180 mm, aligning with standard 155 mm studwork and a single 12.5 mm plasterboard layer on each side.
The frame accommodates 35 mm or 40 mm door leaves, with the leading leaf projecting 9 cm when fully open. While adding extra plasterboard layers can increase thickness, this may require minor adjustments to door joinery during installation.
Can I install telescopic pocket doors myself?
Although we only supply doors and don’t offer installation, we provide everything you need to fit your new pocket door DIY-style.
Our telescopic sliding pocket doors include detailed fitting instructions and a visual guide. For step-by-step guidance on installing the rollers, sliding track and synchronised doors, you can also watch this installation video.
If you prefer a professional touch, having a tradesman handle the installation comes highly recommended. Simply share the cassette dimensions and technical specs with your installer to ensure the components fit perfectly. Correct setup on both sides saves time and ensures smooth, seamless use of your door kit.
