• Pre-primed: Supplied in smooth white, giving you a perfect base to add your own colour. 

• Premium-primed: Available in seven beautiful colours, including industrial black, a choice of greys, sage, heather blue and British pillar box red. Requires a manufacturer-recommended topcoat before hanging. 

• Pre-finished: Oak, walnut, or ash veneer doors options, finished and ready to install, combining convenience and craftsmanship for exceptional quality.

Our Bespoke Service and Process

Ordering internal bespoke doors is simple with our clear, step-by-step process:

1. Choose Your Design: Select your preferred customisable door style.

2. Provide Measurements: Input your doorframe dimensions and choose your preferred thickness (35mm, 40mm or 44mm).

3. Select Optional Hardware: Add handles, hinges and other accessories to suit your design.

4. CAD Drawing (If Needed): In some cases, our technical team may create a CAD drawing to clarify internal proportions. Most orders do not require your input at this stage.

5. Manufacturing: Your doors are crafted to specification using the CAD drawing as a guide, with strict quality control to ensure precision and long-term durability.

6. Delivery: Your bespoke doors are delivered to most UK mainland postcodes either via our own fleet or a trusted courier.

Can I cancel or return my made-to-measure door order?

No. As this is a one-of-a-kind, custom-made piece, we cannot accept returns. Once a custom door order is placed, we cannot cancel it. 

Does Direct Doors supply bespoke door frames?

Yes, in addition to standard and custom internal doors, we also supply door frames, a variety of joinery and door fittings. We're proud to provide exclusive in-house designs and systems in addition to well-known brands. 

What fire ratings do bespoke fire doors have? 

Bespoke fire doors are typically available with FD30 fire ratings, offering 30 minutes of fire resistance when correctly installed as part of a complete certified fire door set.

How to maintain clear glass internal doors?

Maintaining clear glass internal doors is simple and mainly involves regular cleaning and gentle care to keep them looking spotless and streak-free. Use a soft microfibre cloth with a mild glass cleaner or a mixture of warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid to remove fingerprints, dust and smudges. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch the glass or damage surrounding finishes.
