We continue to improve on our delivery services and will be carrying out the following improvements.
We have added a "Text Message" service, this will allow all customers that have been informed by email that their day of delivery is eg a Monday to receive a "Text" to inform them whether it will be AM or PM, this service started in November 2010.
It is our intention to move on to a three part "text" service, this will mean that we can "text" customers to advise that the delivery will be between say 8am to 11.30am, 11.30am to 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 6pm, this will be available at some point during 2013-4.
We normally offer a 48 hour service from when the goods are collected, our intention is to roll out a "Nominated Day" service from as early as Spring/Summer of 2014, this will allow customers to choose the day they want, we will advise when this service is available.
We also deliver direct from our suppliers, this sometimes helps us to reduce customer prices and speeds up the delivery service.
