Qualifications for installing a fire door?
Should I be looking for someone with accreditation to install my fire doors and frames?

There is no such requirement of accreditation but being an approved installer is one way of showing competence and should assure that any of the installed doorsets will comply with the intended period of fire resistance.
While there is no requirement to be third-party certified we are absolutely certain that customers will appreciate and feel safe in the knowledge that the installer has gone through a process of accreditation.
The British Standard for recommendations on the installation of fire doors is BS 8214: 2008 Code of practice for fire door assemblies.
