Secure Payments Matter

From the moment you access any page on DirectDoors.com, security is our top priority. Unlike many other e-commerce platforms that primarily focus on securing only the payment page, we prioritise security throughout the entire process.

This is why we use the widely trusted 'Shopify Pay' service, which comes with its own built-in security measures. Rest assured that your shopping experience is safe and secure.

Shopify Pay is a feature offered by the e-commerce platform Shopify, designed to simplify and speed up the checkout process for customers. It allows users to store their payment and shipping information securely, enabling them to complete transactions quickly across various Shopify-powered stores. With Shopify Pay, customers can use accelerated checkouts, digital wallets, and local payment methods, making the purchasing process more efficient and convenient.

Furthermore, Shopify Pay aims to streamline the payment experience by allowing customers to skip lengthy third-party activations, moving directly to Shopify Payments without any downtime. This streamlined approach not only saves time for customers during the checkout process but also provides a secure and reliable payment option for businesses and their clientele.

The service is known for its strong security measures, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and delivering a safe and seamless shopping experience for users. Shopify Pay is integrated into the Shopify platform, making it easily accessible to merchants and customers using Shopify for their online stores.

Before entering your card details on the payment page, there are are a few things you can look for to ensure the page is secure.

Is there a padlock?

The padlock image shows that any details are being collected securely using 128 bit SSL technology.  Clicking on the padlock will show you the SSL certificate. Depending on what Internet web browser you're using, the padlock can be located in 3 different areas

  • Bottom right-hand corner
  • Next to the address bar
  • Top right-hand corner

What else can you look for?

If you can't see the padlock on the payment page, make sure the URL starts with 'https' instead of 'HTTP'.  The extra 's' shows you the page is secure.
