Latches for interior doors come in different finishes and in different sizes, ordering a 65mm latch for a ball type handle is the wrong thing to do and equally ordering a 100mm latch for a ball handle should be carefully thought out, for example check that the longer latch will fit the (stile) side rail of the door.
